About me
I am a recovering structural engineer with 35 years of experience in residential construction all over the world. I've worked on hundreds of wood-framed houses, as well as concrete, straw bale, adobe, rammed earth, steel, ICF, SIP, and even a house made from shipping containers.

I live in Lucas Valley, California, an hour north of San Francisco, with one wife, two children, one dog and six chickens.
